Grandparents are Special!

Wade and I both feel so blessed to have parents that are the sweetest grandparents to our children. And we also feel blessed that our grandparents are still around and can be a part of our children's lives, too. We think that grandparents are so special. Wade's Grandpa Reed is the most amazing man! He's 95 and has the energy of a 25 year-old. He even went white water rafting a couple of years ago. Since he lives in the most northern part of Montana, we don't get to see him that often, so we were excited when he came to town.

Our little family with Great-Grandpa Reed

Wade's dad is the kind of grandpa that gets on the floor and plays with the kids. Who do you think is having more fun, Emily or her grandpa? :)

Father and son relaxin' in the recliner...We're going to have to buy one some day because Wade's a big fan of recliners! And as you can tell from the picture below, the kids are pretty fond of them, too, all that rockin', who wouldn't enjoy that?

We really need a recliner too! Mike loves lounging in the ones at my parents' house. Looks to me like Grandpa Reed is having more fun than Emily! Isn't that the way it works though?

How wonderful to have a great grandpa with so much energy and love for you kids. I am sure he was having just as much fun if not more playing with Emily.
Love the clothes less Jonathan picture.

Grandparents and great-grandparents are so much fun! I'm glad you guys are so close to both of your families. It's so important for kids to be around as much extended family as possible because of the joy family brings. Glad you had a fun time!!
